I was skeptical at first, but I can honestly say this is the BEST moneypak>BTC exchange I have ever done!!
Sent a PM on silkroad asking if he could do a $400 moneypak and how many BTC it would be...less than 10minutes later he replied with a "Yes, I can do that. This is how many BTC I can give you." Less than 5 minutes after I sent the MP I had funds in my account.
Seriously, the BEST exchange I've had.

Apparently I jumped to conclusions..... It just seemed strange that someone with so few of posts would be offering BTC below market price and that two accounts were created solely for the purpose of stating the legitimacy of this guy after I said something. If you guys have had success with him, I'm sure he's legit. Anything is better than the fiasco I'm going through with VirWoX right now I'm sure.

Nothing that hasn't been addressed here on the forums already. I should have done more research before using them :-\ They charge an exorbitant amount of fees to buy BTC. First there's a fee to transfer from PayPal, then there's a fee to convert to Linden dollars, then another fee to convert the SLL into BTC, then another fee to withdraw the BTC to a wallet address. In total I ended up spending about $30 for $20 of BTC, and because they only trade in whole denominations, I have left over USD and left over SLL in my account that I can't do anything with.
I also assumed (stupidly) that their method of transfer would be quick, but it's going on 36 hours now with no word of anything as they have to do a "manual step" and review my 4BTC purchase out of suspicion because I used Paypal. Never using the site again; in the future I'll either use MtGox or a vendor such as yourself.

I too was a bit skeptical when I first saw this post. Still being a "new" member to SR, I've been scouting around looking for the best vendors to get my bitcoins when the time came. Then I stumbled upon this listing and decided "Hey, let's give it a shot." And holy crap did I make out. I sent him a PM asking how much BTC I would get for "X amount" via MP and he responded within the hour. A quick trip to the store later and I was back home, submitting my order. I was having trouble with the other btc vendors here and for three whole days I was toyed with and lowballed. You can imagine the frustration that was present. All of that went away when I hit up BTCmaster with a message, which he responded to within 5 minuets! He also gave me more bitcoins than what my money pack was worth!!! All within 20 minuets of my first message... this is a true stand up guy here. Highly recommended. I will be back to use him again.

Hello, first time real involvement into the SR community, but I've danced around the edge of BTC and online consumerism of dergz. I'm an avid Ron Paul supporter and was a coordinator for the campaign within our congressional district in Missouri. The decentralization of currency provided from BTC ownership has had very resonating appeal to myself and many others whom I have exposed to its existence. With that being said, I have just taken the first plunge of commitment into making this first purchase through BTCmaster. I plan to post a write up of the experience from the viewpoint of an extremely fiscally cautious subscriber in hopes to help anyone else who is lurking and deciding of the legitimacy or not.

Edit: Everything went exactly as proposed. I had my doubts after checking into the thread being that the first "reviews" were from very low post count profiles. Usually a flag in my book, but as I continued to read through I started to get on board to try it out. Despite my lack of knowledge on the process and dumb ass questions at time, BTCmaster was informative, collected and walked me through the process.
+Respect: I left work to get a MP card and scheduled a time that I could meet back up a few hours later for the transaction, he was 15 minutes early. Despite the market being @ 6.51 per BTC he still kept the 5.90 conversion and even gave me a fatter bag on the deal. In all, a very good experience 5/5
No cheese here folks; 100% legit. Would use again.

I am so glad I was referred to BTCmaster :) I was scrambling around trying to beat a express order cutoff time and he came through with extra's! I like many tried the king but he has this snobby attitude and doesn't have any customer service skills,he feels we need him but its really the other way around! But once that first message with BTCmaster happened everything just got so much easier, he took the time to walk me through everything! And even though it's temporarry you need to use him while he has it cause once he slows down its back to big fees and bad service so dont tell many just use him yourself :) I gave him $150 and before I knew it I had $156 in my account, I thought it was a mistake but know he must cash out vendors so take advantage, your helping him but he is really helping you! Best thing also is how nice of a guy he is and hope he still has coin when I need to re-up :)

This vendor is legit. I was going to use Sugar Mama, and realized too late that she was out of the office today, and wouldn't be back until tomorrow. I saw this thread, messaged him on SR to see if he was active tonight, and had my BTC in my SR account in less than 10 minutes from the initial message.

I have completely switched over to using moneypaks instead of a direct peer to peer trade, because btcmaster makes this easiler then any other transactions I've had on SR. I have used over 4 times, or so now with transactions always in the +400usd range, and would trust him with much more.
he always gives an extra btc for the trade, too.

PM'd him asking what the rate was, received a reply within an hour (about the time it took me to get back home with the MP), placed the order and.... BAM! Bitcoins are in my account in 10 minutes. Have you heard from that guy since then? That was crazy, I cant believe someone from SR Would do something like that. I have noticed that people on SR have their friends and if you do something better than their friends you get talked bad about. It's all very clicky, kinda like high school again.

Send BTCmaster a PM on SR saying "Interested in doing a MP to BTC exchange for $X amount, how many bitcoins could I get for that?" Feel free to be polite and all that, but you get the gist. Depending on the circumstances, it'll take anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours to get a response. If you are satisfied with the quote (and I always am) then go ahead and order his listing off his vendor page. Using PGP, encrypt the MP code, Amount, and Region (Not sure if necessary, but I always include it... NE/SE/NW/SW) and wait... You'll get your coins much faster than you think!

I have a question about moneypak to BTC transfers. How secure are these transfers? If I purchase my moneypak in Maine and then give the moneypak code to someone in Nebraska and they then redeem that moneypak, would it not look a little fishy to anyone/LEA that may be watching???

this sellers is to be TRUSTED and USED!
needed coins and didn't want to have to pay high % as some sellers require. found BTCmaster on a thread of trusted sellers. Bit scared, not going to lie so I made sure seller was online when action would take place. Additional plus is BTCmaster just deals with money->coin transfer so you know all the stats and 5/5 are reflective for this type of work. BLAZING speed. Coins were transferred <30mins (could have been sooner as some said 5 or 10mins).
Only potential change would be some kind of message to state @ what rate and a msg of when the action of sending took place, but 5/5 for sure! Seller did tell me that there were 10 customers requesting coins

Everything went fine with me. Not as much btc as I thought i would get, but the markets been so up and down(still a way better deal than bitinstant,etc). I much rather do a mp over bank deposits but was scared to invest that much for a first time thing. Keep us updated please.
